Dear Glenyce, Danny, and families, Your dad was well-loved by this distant cousin and I believe there is much to celebrate in his life. My memories of him and your mom as my first babysitter in Proctor Bottom are no so much events as just the feeling of joy and love that always seemed to surround them and your home. As a young child, visits to your South Man home were a great treat and always full of laughter and activity. Your dad was a generous, kind spirit who was a positive influence in my life. You are in my prayers for comfort and peace. Rosemary

I became friends with Jim after Ann became disabled. I would sometimes go visit with her and came to know Jim through those visits. Jim was a kind and caring man. He loved working in his shop - took me to see it on one visit and made a deacon's bench for us to give to my Mother for Christmas one year. He loved Ann and took such good care of her. Ann and I worked together for many years at CHFM. She taught me to crochet during breaks and lunch periods (pulled out many of my incorrect stitches). I make Shaggy Dog cookies each Christmas. My recipe is one she typed on old CHFM stationary probably in the 1970s. What a reunion they must be having in Heaven!
