Toni: Just read about losing the best coal miner I have ever known. Fiercely loyal to his friends. A second father to me and other young miners at Guyan No.1 Mine. I would run through a brick wall for him and he will sadly be missed. Talk about him to other miners often. I was so very lucky to have known and worked for Carmel. Toni, Linda, Trisha, Susan and families please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all today and in the coming days. I know far to well how your hearts are shedding tears for our worldly loss of Uncle Carmel. May you find comfort in knowing he is now laughing and pain free in Heaven with all of his family whom we have sent before him.
