My memories of Mrs. Opal Triplett Burns have to do with what Shannon would say about her 'me maw" at rehearsals, in car trips, and whenever we were around each other. She loved her and knew she was loved and is loved by her. Mrs. Opal Triplett Burns - thank you for having her mother - another amazing lady and for adding to the dynamic energy force enigma who is Shannon... all of us and the rest of the world and its center - NYC - is very thankful.

I will never forget Aunt Opal`s sweet smile & how much fun she was.Such a great cook & always decorating & remodeling her house ( I believe I must have gotten that from her)She will be missed by her family near & far but, she is at peace now & rejoicing with all those that have gone on before her
