I am so sorry to hear of Jim,s passing. I worked with him at Holden 20-D Island Creek. He was a very special friend, and careing person. I looked up too, and enjoyed knowing.I will miss asking Robert, about him at Magic Mart. May you find comfort in knowing BIG DADDY was very proud of his family, and friends. I will keep his family in our prayers, God bless,comfort, and keep his memory in your hearts always.

I first meet Jim the fall of 1984,Robert and I had just went to work for HECK'S,not knowing if Robert or I would even have a job after the grand opening.Jim would patiently wait for Robert,for we would have to work really late.Jim would hang around with Robert and myself and talk about the day,s events.he didn't know me from Adam but would treat me like he had known me all my life,thought the world of Jim and his family I guess it's true what they said about Jim,that he never meet a stranger,may god bless Robert and his family in this time of sorrow.

I was good friends with Greg, so I saw Mr. Blankenship quite often. He always enjoyed giving me a hard time (in a good-natured way) and I always enjoyed getting it. He was truly a good guy. Men like him are getting harder to come by. I'm glad I knew him.
