Bennie was my dad's first cousin. His mom and my dad's mom were sisters. When my grandmother found out Bennie was called to preach, she was so excited. She did get to hear Bennie preach in 2003 while we were visiting WV. Now my grandmother and Bennie are having a reunion in heaven rejoicing in the LORD.

I knew Benny for over 15 years as a co-worker and as a close friend. Benny was very special to me as he was to everyone who got to know him. We shared many hours side by side and his memories will live forever. I never got to hear him preach the word but I saw it daily as he lived and toiled in this life. Heaven just got one of it's special worriors. Love you Benny. Your friend Harrison.

I used to live beside him, Debbie & Bev in Cooks Addition about 30 years ago. He drove the church van back then and he never missed a Sunday of picking us up. Church and God's word were always a huge part of Bennie's life and he was so thrilled to share that love with all he met. Bennie was such a good man. He will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest condolences to the entire family. May God protect and comfort you all.
