Very saddened to hear of 'Mamaw Cook" to my children, Ashley and Timothy". I was so glad to be able to see her on Saturday, April 9, and spend some time sharing with her - how much I have missed her and thankful I was able to tell her I appreciated her love to me through the years I was a part on the Cook family. "Wisdom from a Wise Women" "Gladys Cook" On Sept. 29, 1997, My mother (Patty Boytek Kazee) passed away. I had been missing my mom terribly, and I asked Gladys, "How did you endure your mom passing away?" Gladys answered me by saying, "I drew closer to my children"! Glady's patience and love and care will never be forgotten! I am so glad she held on to my hand when I got to visit her on April 9, in addition to see my daughter Ashley wiping her forehead and arms and hands with a a cool wash cloth. Thank-you Larry for letting me visit her one more time!
