Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family. We know Aunt Mae is in a place so beautiful we cannot comprehend it and that she is exceedingly happy. She was and is a loving and kind lady. She gave me cooking tips and the confidence to tackle home repairs. We will miss her contagious laugh and quick smile. Romans 8: 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through the one who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor anything above, nor anything below, nor anything else in all creation can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My name is Vicki Damron. I am so saddened to learn of the passing of Ethel Mae. My mother, Bernita (maiden name Adams) Lindsay was a high school friend of Ethel Mae's (they were graduates of the Old Man High School Class of 1946). Sadly, my mother is now in a nursing home with Alzheimers disease and no longer knows my sister, Cathy, and me. I know my mother would be heartbroken if she were able to comprehend the passing of her dear friend Ethel. Mother very much enjoyed talking with Ethel on the teledphone. I pray that Heavenly Father will surround Ethel's family, friends, and loved ones with love and grant all her mourn Ethel's passing strength, peace, and comfort during these difficult days. I am praying for the broken-hearted to be comforted and uplifted. May God bless you all.

Ethel was a great student in school. We were in the same class for 6 years. She was a very smart and determined student. She could have been lots of things and the way it turned out she was exactly who she wanted to be, a wife and mother. Her children can be proud of their mother. Ethel Mae Yanko Preston was a great lady.
