Thank you for loving me as your own. If you wouldn't have made what seemed to the end of my world moving here away from everyone and everything I knew better, I wouldn't have my greatest blessing Nevaeh. I love you so much Uncle John!!! Wish I would have came in more, I am so sorry I didn't get to see you more. I know you and paw paw Wetzel are up there cutting up and catching up.

We mourn the passing of John, whose gentle wisdom was a beacon to all who knew him. Endowed with remarkable intellect and loving tenderness, he always held sacred spaces by our side from life's dawning years. His shared joy in experiencing Star Wars together will forever resonate as enduring memories of our cherished companion. May his enlightened spirit continue its celestial journey among the stars he admired so dearly.

John and Dean generously allowed me to live with them when I had just had my first son , Edward, and knowing that I had no income or place to go came and got me and I lived with them for several months. He always bought for my son and me when ever he bought for themselves. Never ask me for money or anything. I have always considered them one of my closest friends. Dean is as close to me as my sister and I consider her my sister. John was a loving and caring person. Never judged me or said anything that would hurt my feelings. He was a wonderful man and I will always remember him with love. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. ,Mary Ellen Brown
