Wes and Linda's house was like the neighborhood kids second home. They treated us like their own. I am saddened by his passing. He was one of the best fathers I know. I'll always remember his great smile and laugh.

Time would come many days for Wes to come home from the mines and the front gate would squeek. JP, Todd, Shane and Bobby would, no matter what they were doing drop it and run to Wes. Why you ask, because even though he might have been hungry after a brutal shift in the mine...he would save his snack cake (little Debbie often) for the fastest son of the day. I would see him smile when he saw them running and it would warm my heart to see a man so love his family to sacrifice for his sons just to see them smile. I would watch each time in awe. I will miss you DAD!
