I know it's been a while since Eric's passing, but I just happened to be reviewing the older obituaries and found out about his untimely death. My deepest sympathies to his family. Eric and I played baseball and football against each other when we were still teens, and he and I worked together selling Kirby vacuum cleaners when I was first out of military school in 1995. He was always pleasant to be around. I'm sorry that I'm just now getting to pay my condolences, but know that Eric is always watching out for you and waiting for the day when you are reunited.

Eric always had a beautiful smile when he was just a baby he cried all the time I was the first to feed him mashed potatoes with gravy on them his mom was scared but that baby was hungry he ate like he was starved and I enjoyed feeding him that was the night he sleep all night. Eric we had our ups and downs but I will always hold you in my heart the memories, I also remember Holly and Bridgette sitting on my porch singing Strawberry Wing I just thought they made the song up then she ask me to get her a date with you I never dreamed it was going to be a lifetime love you Holly and Eric so much and I know that you will be deeply missed by all the knew you so Rest In Peace my dearest nephew until we meet again you are up there with Ed now you two can fix some of that roast on the grill.

Uncle Eik,
What a special place you hold in my heart. You were always my favorite person growing up and the house I would run away to. I will always cherish our special bond. Praying that you have found peace in Heaven. With a heavy heart, I love you and you will be missed. I’m so grateful I got one last hug and will always be a part of my special day.

Eric will always be remembered fondly by our family. He was so very wonderful with my daughter in softball and will never be able to be replaced!! My husband also worked in the coal mines beside him! Rest easy Eric and until we meet again teach those girls up there well!!!

I was lucky enough to meet Eric and his family on the softball field at St. John Neumann High School while coaching his daughter, Courtney, on the Clovers travel softball team. He always had a smile and a beer for me. I enjoyed our talks after practice and his words of wisdom. Thank you so much for bringing joy to my days! Please God, watch over Eric’s family in this difficult time and give them peace knowing that You are taking care of Eric now.

I am so sorry to hear this. Eric was definitely one of a kind. His love for softball was amazing. He was the best coach miranda ever had. He taught her a lot and she has taken what he taught her with her for the past ten years of playing. I am praying hard for holly and the babies and the rest of the family.
