Edith was such an amazing person. She was my most favorite person to visit! I loved to open her door and see her smiling face every week. Even on her bad days she was always smiling and wanted to know how I was doing. I’m so very blessed to have been given the opportunity to get to know her and her family! Many prayers to family as I know she will surely be missed.

I loved Edith and Lacy Cox Sr. very much along with all their family. I visited their home many times. Each time these two saints treated me so good and witnessed to me about Jesus. Lacy would get his Bible and have Bible study with me. I loved it. It seemed like Edith always had cake, pie on hand. I never turned it down. So good. I have missed Lacy and will miss Edith. But, I will never forget them.

She was Edie to me. Blessed my life in so many ways, but mostly by helping raise my Mom, her sister Brenda. My Mom leaned on Edie as a Mother figure and a treasured sister all her life. She respected and held Edie in such high regard because Edie sacrificed so many of her dreams and desires to help her family. Edie put the word "love" into action. Edie helped get my career started in healthcare by putting in a good word for me at Logan General Hospital. She would always go out of her way for others. All through my life I marveled at and admired the family circle Edie had grown down there at Taplin. Love, love, love at every turn. And Edie instilled those values in my Mom, who follows her Big Sis's example to this day. Oh, that we could all leave a legacy like Edie left behind. The best way to honor and thank Edie is to honor and follow Jesus. In that way, we are GUARANTEED to see her again.
Love and prayers to all the family. Chuck (Chucky to Edie) Williamson
