I really don't know where to start because I have so many memories of Teddy Joe. To start with we grew up right beside each other so he was family to me. As a young man Teddy would come to our house and help my Dad adding the house. Vicky will remember all of this too. My Mom and Dad loved him dearly. I spent my whole life until 18 yrs old right beside Teddy and his family until we moved to Robinette. We remained close friends with Teddy,b actually he was family to us. The best thing about me and Teddy was everyone said I could pass as his twin brother and I'm talking everyone said it. I came home from North Carolina for my cousin Dale's funeral and I went and seen Teddy 3 weeks before he passed away. He was so happy to see me and my son. We gave him a ride to the store to get some cokes and he brought out a little photo album with older pics of him. He got in the car and look at my son and did you know your Dad had a twin?? Teddy showed my 14 yr old son the pictures of him when he was younger and my son said Dad y'all look like brothers. He loved showing my son them pics of himself. Teddy not one time did we see each other that we didn't say I love you. Well this is me saying one more time that I love you brother and I pray to God that you really knew just how much I did love you. Until we meet again, fly high Teddy Joe. I'll never forget about you..... Johnny Copley

I have known you since the 7th grade. I remember us laughing and cutting up in class. You were the tall, handsome boy with a grin that could light up a room. You will forever be engraved in my heart and mind.
May the morning sun caress you,
The rains of change refresh you,
And the gentle breeze of His Spirit
Lift the wings of your transformation.
