In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sisters, Yvonne and Rosella; brothers, Harold and Paul; four sisters-in-law that she loved dearly, Hazel (Bill) Brown, Doris (Orville) Workman, Ruby (Dan) Dale, and Zel (Riley) Evans; three brothers-in-law, Sherman (Marie) Gollihue, Leonard (Rita) Gollihue, and Steve Gollihue; a special niece that she had a hand in raising, Linda “Perky” Johnson and her husband, Mack; her parents-in-law, Earnest and Mamie Gollihue that she lovingly called Mother and Poppy.
She married Dennis “Humpy” Gollihue in October 1949 and they had two children, Stanley and Cindi. After Humpy passed away in 1976, Audrey continued working for Lazarus Department Store in
In June 1987, she became a grandmother for the first time to Jenna Hlin. In January 1988, she moved to
After Bill passed away in May 2015 she continued to live in
Audrey is survived by her children, Stan of Columbus, OH and Cindi (Paul) Heazlit of Apache Jct., AZ; grand-daughter, Jenna Hlin of Manchester, NY; brother, Ted (Judy) Scott of AZ; sister-in-law, Gladys Scott of Mud Fork, WV; niece and nephew, Rene'e (Joe) Schumacher and Mackie (Kenna) Johnson, both of Man, WV; along with a long list of Scott, Gollihue, and Cummings relatives.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved to travel and listen to her 8-track tapes of Elvis.
