Obituary of Thomas Lee Jeffrey

   Thomas Lee Jeffrey, 63, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25, 2019, at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, after a sudden illness.

   He was born December 20, 1955, at Madison, a son of Paul and Pauline Delores (Jones) Jeffrey of Mallory.

   Preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents, Rev. Linville L. and Mary Ellen (Coburn) Jeffrey and his maternal grandparents, Cody and Nina (Fisher) Jones.

   Tom was a 1974 graduate of Man High School.  He attended college for two years and then began work as a Lab Technician at Amherst Coal and Standard Lab where he worked until his retirement in 2010.  Tom attended the Man Church of the Nazarene and Claypool United Methodist Church where he joyfully shared his gift for singing with each congregation.  He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. Tom will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

   Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Paul and Pauline Delores (Jones) Jeffrey of Mallory; one brother, Tim (Dreama) Jeffrey of Kopperston and their children, Melissa Whitten and Derek Jeffrey; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Man Church of the Nazarene at Man. 

   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Man Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ollie Parsons officiating.  Burial will follow in Family Gardens at Danville.
