Jack L. Booth, 73, of Lundale, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, leaving from
He was born on September 21, 1945, at Logan, a son of the late Arnett Booth and Jack and Ruby Mae Simpson Adkins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer “Pete” Adkins.
Jack was a coal miner who began his mining career in 1969 and became disabled in 1985. He met the love of his life in 1963 and they married on April 18, 1965. Jack was a member of Aracoma Lodge #99 in
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years, Pat Miller Booth; two sons, David and Denise Booth of Lundale and Mike and Marica Booth of Lorado; grandchildren, Kayla and Patrick Karn of Nitro, David and Hunter Booth of Cyclone, Peyton Beaty of Stowe, and Dalton Vance of Lorado; great-grandchildren, Rhett Ashley Harvey, Brynley Karn, and Melanie Blue Booth; three sisters, Gay Rieth of Cincinnati, OH, Patty and David Browning of Chapmanville, and Susy and Zane Jeffery of Henlawson; a sister-in-law, Lil Adkins of Holden; along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in
