Of
Diana Bailey Gibson, 71, of Neibert, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 15, 2018, departing peacefully from Dignity Hospice House in Chapmanville, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on May 28, 1947, at Accoville, a daughter of the late
Diana was also preceded in death by her husband, Wetzel “Fats” Spears; one brother, Donald Bailey, her infant sister, Marie Bailey; one sister, Deloris “Sissy” Workman; a niece, Angie Nelson, a nephew, Jason Workman; and one sister-in-law, Sandy Ellis Bailey.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Thompson and son-in-law, Merl Thompson of Logan; grandchildren, Justin (Kassondra) Thompson, Hannah Lynn Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Carter Luke Thompson, Riley Evans, and Skyler Evans, all of Logan; sister, Mary Lou (Russell) Nelson, of Accoville; four brothers, Gordon Bailey of Bruno, Chester (Carmella) Bailey of Accoville, Charles “Bits” (Doralene) Bailey of Bruno, and Michael “Cud” (Karen) Bailey of Accoville; special friends, Brenda Blackman and Helen Daniels; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives.
Diana’s family would like to acknowledge and thank her doctor Chris Tipton and the staff of Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville.
A celebration of Diana’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Butch Cobb and Deacon Russell Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home also.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
