Of Accoville, WV

   Mark Walter Sora, 60, of Accoville, departed this life on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Pikeville Medical Center at Pikeville, KY, after a long illness.

   He was born March 15, 1958, at Chicago, IL, a son of the late Edward Scott and Rita Adelt Sora.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jillian Bryce Sora.

   Mark was an operating engineer in the chemical industry for many years.  His favorite place in the world was Chicago, IL where he was born and raised.  He enjoyed hot rods and drag racing.  Mark enjoyed watching classic films and loved spending time with his wife and daughter.

   Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Michelle Morgan Sora of Green Valley; one brother, Scott Sora of Chicago, IL; one niece, Kate Sora of Chicago, IL; along with a host of friends.

   A private service will be held at a later date.

   In honor of Mark’s wishes his remains have been cremated.
