Darlena Rose Garbosky Dunn

Of Kistler, WV

   Darlena Rose Garbosky Dunn, 47, of Kistler, departed this life to be present with the Lord on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Pikeville Medical Center at Pikeville, KY, after battling a short illness.

   She was born on December 22, 1970, at Man, a daughter of the late Alfred Garbosky Sr. and Evelyn Willis Garbosky.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Garbosky and Joseph Garbosky; along with her grandparents, Vinson and Dina Willis and Joe and Geneva Garbosky.

   Darlena was of the Baptist faith.  She was a 1989 graduate of Man High School.  Darlena was a humble, loving, and caring person.  She was always there for anyone who needed her.  Devoted to her family, Darlena cherished her sons and family above all.  She will remain in the hearts of her loved ones until we meet again.

   Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Kenneth Dunn of Petersburg and Leonard Dunn of Craigsville; two brothers, Alfred (Geri) Garbosky Jr. of St. Albans and Roy (Lara) Garbosky Sr. of Kistler; one sister, Josie Clark of Davin; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

   Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.

   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Osborne officiating.

   Pall bearers will be family and friends.
