Obituary of Michael Roger Murphy

   Michael Roger Murphy, 50, of Landville, went home to be with the Lord where he was able to rejoice with his father, Robert E. Murphy on Monday, September 3, 2018, leaving from Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, after a long illness.

   He enjoyed sports and was a life long Cleveland Brown’s fan.  He also loved being with his friends and family.

   Loved ones left behind are his mother, Carol Sue Murphy; two children, Robert Michael Murphy and Natasha Lacole Murphy; two grandsons, Chase Axel Coabe Murphy and Dawson Blake Murphy; along with a host of other family and friends.

   Visitation will be held from 12 until 2 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018, at the Landville Freewill Baptist Church at Landville.

   Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Landville Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Tracy Milton and Rev. Alfred “Butch” Cobb officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. 

   Pall bearers will be Donnie Ellis, Ricky Browning, Justin Johnson, Todd Sanders, Chris Plumley, and Nick Reedy.
