In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William Jennines Spears, Wetzel Ray "Fats" Spears, Richard "Dick" Spears; and one sister, Druzella Ruth "Tiny" Perry.
Diana was a seamstress formerly employed with Wilson Cleaners for about 20 years. She was a talented artist who had very eclectic taste. Diana loved spending time with her grandchildren and her canine companion, Beanie Baby.
Survivors include two children, Lonna Gail Carter-Moore of Barboursville and Gary (Crystal Caldwell) Carter of Madison Creek; three grandchildren, William Russell Carter and Katelyn Michell Carter, both of Madison Creek and Carter Jace Moore of Barboursville; a very special nephew who helped during her illness, Richard “Tee-tie” Spears of Madison Creek; and other nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Honoring Diana’s request her remains have been cremated.
A private service will be held at a later date.
