Eunice Adkins, 80, of Lorado, joined her husband, Delmar, in their Heavenly home on August 2, 2018, leaving from her earthly home, after an extended illness.
She was born February 17, 1938, in
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Adkins; two sons, Delmar Ray Adkins and Michael Dale Adkins; one sister, Mary Jean Sheets; and two brothers, Forrest Adkins and Herman Adkins.
Eunice was a home maker who took great pride in her family. She was a wonderful mother who had a firm hand and a soft heart. Eunice loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. A member of
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Kathy (Sampy) Keene and Betty Adkins, both of Lorado and Betty’s companion, Robert Stewart, of Oceana; one son, Billy (Judy) Adkins of Main Huff; a special daughter-in-law, Becky Adkins of Man; ten grandchildren, Ronald (Kimberly) Walls, David (Tracy) Walls, Kimberly (Charlie) Ball, Christopher Adkins, Amy (Mickey) Hunt, Jeremy Adkins, Billy (Jaclyn) Adkins II, Eric (Amanda) Adkins, Abbie Adkins, and Bobbie Adkins; 13 great-grandchildren, Charlie Ball II, Casey Ball, Emily Hunt, Nicholas Hunt, Connor Hunt, Blake Adkins, Jaylee Adkins, Caleb Adkins, Emily Adkins, Bethani Adkins, Braden Adkins, Levi Adkins, and Tyson Adkins; four sisters, Janice Woolwine of Norfolk, VA, Dorothy Albright of Man, Phyllis Hulsey of Huntington, and Lois Lester of Wayne; a special sister-in-law, Linda Adkins of Huntington; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to service also.
Pall bearers will be grandsons.
