Roger Dale Davis

Of Man, WV

   Roger Dale Davis, 56, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, leaving from his earthly home, after an extended illness.

   He was born November 7, 1961, at Man, a son of the late Robert Earl and Margaret Conley Davis.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Louise Cook; and one brother, Ricky Ray Davis.

   Roger was a 1980 graduate of Man High School where he played Hillbilly football.  He was a disabled construction worker.  Roger enjoyed watching sports and attending family gatherings.  He was a people person who never met a stranger.  Roger loved his family especially all the little ones. 

   Those left to cherish his memory are one son, Colton Nelson/Davis of Accoville; one daughter, Jessica (T.J.) Blevins of Robinette;   two grandchildren, Caleb and Kylie Blevins; five sisters, Naomi Spencer of Vinton, OH, Georgie Isaacs of New Castle, IN, Shelby Davis of Madison, Peggy (John) Ball of  Jackson, OH, and Rosa (Larry) Lodato of Madison; two brothers, William “Buddy” Davis of Man and Jerry (Carolyn) Davis of Davin; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Ruth Ann DeLong officiating.

   Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home also.

   In honor of Roger’s wishes, his remains will be cremated.

   Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
