Kit Thomas Rozzell

Of Man, WV

   Kit Thomas Rozzell, 40, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2018, leaving from Huntington.

   He was born on March 13, 1978, in Huntington, a son of Jerry and Lee Anne Lambert Rozzell of Man.

   Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Pat Mutters, Otto Mutters, Dunk Lambert, James L. and Loretta Rozzell; and his great-grandmother, Thelma Grubb.

   Kit was a 1996 graduate of Man High School where he played Hillbilly football and baseball.  He attended Marshall University and the Art Institute of Atlanta.  Kit had a passion for Art and Music and was a talented guitarist and free hand artist.  An avid fisherman and golfer, Kit loved sharing these activities with his daughter, Melody who was the light of his life as well as his niece Sadie.  Kit never met a stranger and could always make everyone laugh.  He had a big heart for his family, his many friends, and his canine and feline friends that he referred to as “his aminals”.

   In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Melody Brooke Rozzell; one sister, Kelli Rozzell-Greene and her husband, John, of Davin; one niece, Sadie Greene of Davin; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   A Memorial Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018,  at the Bruce McDonald Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Stone officiating.

   Family and friends may gather one hour prior to services.

   In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The Newness of Life, 2210 Ninth Ave.-Huntington, WV  25701.

   In honor of Kit's wishes his remains have been cremated.
