Obituary of Mary Catherine Copeland

Mary Catherine Copeland Of Amherstdale, WV Mary Catherine Copeland, 40, of Amherstdale, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2014, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a short illness. She was born December 27, 1973, at Logan, the daughter of Hershel "Butch" Copeland of Amherstdale and the late Mary Ann Blankenship Copeland. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Thelma Rowe, Oren and Thelma Adkins, and Leo Blankenship. Mary was a 1992 graduate of Man High School and was a home maker. She attended Lundale Freewill Baptist Church. Mary loved children and enjoyed helping her brother and others care for their children. She was a very important part of their lives and will be deeply missed. Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her father, are the love of her life, Mike Booth of Lorado; one brother, Brad (Tammy) Copeland of Chauncey; her grandmother, Mary Rowe Blankenship of Kistler; her nieces and nephews, Brandon Conley, and Joseph, Jacob, and Amanda Copeland; her cousins who she adored, Jeremy and Jaxon Tipton; her best friend, Leslie Walker and her children; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a brief service will be held at 6 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
