Of Rita, WV

   Barbara Eve Ellison, 58, of Rita, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, leaving from Dignity Hospice House at Chapmanville, after a courageous battle with cancer.

   She was born on December 18, 1959, at Logan, a daughter of the late Carl Brady and Vivian Marie Wells Chambers.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Vivian Chambers.

   Barbara was a loving wife and mother with a spirit that could touch anyone.  Mothering came naturally to her and she mothered all the children who came through her home.  She was always working whether at Ameri/Bank, the Dollar General Store at Logan, or in her own home.  Barbara loved spending time with her family especially her grandbabies.  She loved any outdoor activity as long as it included her grandchildren; camping, going to Nascar races, 4-wheeling, or simply sitting on a rock with the grandbabies watching the river roll by.  Barbara will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

   Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Paul Ellison Jr.; four children, Jim, Joanie, Paul, and Amy; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Zachary, Megan, and Arianna; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Eddie Isom officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

   Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.

   Pall bearers will be family and friends.
