Roger Cline

Of Davin, WV

   Roger Cline, 63, of Davin, departed this life on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Pikeville Medical Center at Pikeville, KY, after an extended illness.

   He was born April 1, 1955, at Iaeger, a son of the late Carlos McClellan and Wilcie Delorice Maynard Cline.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Cline; and one brother, Michael Cline.

   Roger was a coal miner who was disabled after 25 years of coal mining.  He was a proud member of the UMWA District 17.  Roger was of the Church of God faith.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling.  Roger lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with his family and friends.

   Those left to cherish his memory are one son, Joshua Blake Cline of Davin; one brother, Carlos L. Cline of Mallory; four sisters, Ida (Larry) Bryant of Johnson City, TN, Wanda (Rev. Dennis) Lester of Hanover, Linda (Richard) Browning of Ocala, FL, and Diana (John T.) Hatfield of Cross Lanes; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, May 18, 2018, at the Full Gospel Church of God at Baisden with Rev. Jonas Trent officiating.

   Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church also.

   In honor of Roger’s request his remains will be cremated.

   Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
