Michael James Justice Of Davin, WV Michael James Justice, 63, of Davin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2018, leaving from CAMC-Memorial Division, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was born on August 4, 1954, at Logan, a son of the late Minis Cecil and Joann Deskins Justice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Arnold Toler; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Carmon Flutty Deskins; his paternal grandparents, Basil and Della Brown Justice; his step-mother, Evelyn Kay Justice; and two nephews, Ryan Justice and Phillip "Bud" Porter. Michael was a coal miner with 37 years of service who retired from Patriot Coal Company. At his retirement he received a watch for thirty years of service with Patriot Coal Company. Mike was a member of the Toler Baptist Church since 1977 but was currently attending the Cyclone Missionary Baptist Church. His passion was spending time at Smith Mountain Lake fishing with his family and friends. Some of his fondest memories were hunting on the Toler farm with his son and grandson. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, piddling in his garage, and doing anything outside. Mike was a good carpenter building his home in 1981. His favorite pass time was spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, his loving wife of 44 years, Loraine Justice; one daughter, Amanda (Bobby) Cooper of Oceana; one son, Chris (Stephanie) Justice of Davin; four grandchildren, C.J. Justice and his fiancé, Tierra Spaulding and Allison Justice, all of Davin and Morgan Cooper and Chase Cooper, both of Oceana; one sister, Linda (Jerry) Lowe of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Minness (Teresa) Justice of Davin; his mother-in-law, Anna Mae Toler of Davin; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ruby and Charles Toler of Daniels, Emily Buckner of Summersville, Jean Graham of Robinette, Sue and Glen Jones of Beaver, Sonny and Emily Toler of Beckley, Jerry and Sherry Toler of Davin, Dean and Tenna Toler of NC, Helen and Nathan Porter and James Pete Toler, all of Davin, and Michelle Toler of Winston-Salem, NC; two special friends, Terry Daniels of Matheny and Mike Simpson of Mooresville, NC; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Merle Walls, Rev. Stephen Walls, and Rev. Charlie Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pall bearers will be Terry Daniels, Mike Simpson, C.J. Justice, Jimmy Justice, Jerry Lowe, and Bobby Cooper. Honorary pall bearers are his brothers-in-law.
