Obituary of Peggy Sue Moore

Peggy Sue Moore Of Jacksonville, FL Peggy Sue Moore, 63, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Lundale, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, leaving from her earthly home in Jacksonville, FL, after a long illness. She was born on November 24, 1954, at Beckley, WV a daughter of the late William Lee and Lottie Mae Webb Jarrell and her special uncle and aunt, the late Bill "Daddy Bill" and Ruth "Mommy Ruth" Morris who helped raise her. In addition to both sets of her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her two sons, Gary Jacobs; her second husband, Patsy "Pat" Moore; sister, Cheryl Foxx; and an infant brother, Dale Jarrell. Peggy was a restaurant general manager for Burger King. She opened and re-established many Burger King Restaurants during her 20 plus year career. Peggy enjoyed cooking, gardening, and watching her flowers grow especially her favorite, morning glories. She loved coming home to WV and spending time with her family. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Rodney (Eileen) Jacobs of Moline, IL and Michael Jocobs of Jacksonville, FL; three granddaughters, Samantha Jacobs of Chicago, IL, Madeline "Maddie" Jacobs and Cassie Coyle, both of Moline, IL; three sisters, Carol (Ronnie) Hoosier of Amherstdale, Debbie (Bill) Mays of Lundale, and Vickie (Rocky) Graham of Latrobe; five nieces, Angie, Ronda, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Amber; three nephews, Billy, Ronnie, and Kevin; her boss and special friend who was like a brother, Vance Rossell; her fur baby, Maeleigh; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Donald Lafferty and Brother Terry Adkins officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home also. Peggy will lovingly be laid to rest on Monday at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
