Sandra Sue "Sandy" Booth Johnson Of Princeton, WV Sandra Sue "Sandy" Booth Johnson, 70, of Princeton, formally of Accoville, left her earthly home for her heavenly mansion and a reunion with family and friends on January 19, 2014. She was born September 15, 1943 at Lundale, the daughter of the late Foster and Jewell Farley Booth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Ed Kessler and Mike Christian; one niece, Bettina Kessler Merritt; and one nephew, Timmy Kessler. Sandy was employed by the Craft Medical Corporation for forty-three years. Dr. Gary Craft and wife, Martie were not only her employers, they were her best friends. After moving his medical practice from Man to Princeton, Dr. Craft, Martie, and their daughter, Heather, became her family away from home. She loved bowling and during her younger years was a member of a bowling league in Logan where she acquired many special friends. Sandy was a member of the Accoville United Methodist Church. While living in Princeton, she attended the First Church of the Nazarene. She was involved in and supported both church and community activities. Sandy will be remembered for kindness, compassion, generosity and the joy, the laughter, and the love she shared with her family. Frankie, her son, was the "love of her life". Sandy felt honored and blessed for his years of service and his many achievements while serving his country in the United States Navy. She also shared a special relationship and bond with her niece, Becky Thompson Mays, and great niece, Kaitlyn Jewel Mays. Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Frank E. (Petra) Johnson, Jr. of Hampstead, NC; grandsons Nick Booth of Accoville and Ryan Johnson of Man; five sisters, Betty Kessler of Accoville, Donna (DJ) Gollihue of La Grange, KY, Wanda Christian of Titusville, FL, Andrea (Richard) Thompson of Davin, and Alice (Jon) Perry of Man; 6 nieces; 4 nephews; 6 great nieces; 13 great nephews; and special friends, Janice McCormick, Ron and Mora Clark, and Nancy Farley; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Sandy will always remain in our hearts and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at the Accoville United Methodist Church with Rev. Norman Harvey and Richard Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family wishes to convey their thanks and appreciation to the medical staff at CAMC, Girling Home Health, and Dignity Hospice, both of Chapmanville for the care they provided during Sandy's illness. A special thanks is also extended to Robynn Adkins Burton, RN, Shelia Perry Justice, RN and her family primary care physician, Chris Tipton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Accoville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 150, Accoville, WV 25606.
