Dallas Jean Corns
Of Davin, WV
Dallas Jean Corns, 78, of Davin, departed this life to be with her beloved husband, Jack, on December 30, 2013, at CAMC-Memorial Division.
She was born November 23, 1935, at Rum Creek, the daughter of the late Willard and Mary Adkins Frye.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Corns; and her siblings, Rosie Frye, Margie Peck, Dorothy McKenzie, Ora Frye, and James Frye.
Jean was an elementary school teacher who retired from the Logan County Board of Education. She was an avid bowler and was a Nascar fan.
Those left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Otis (Palmis) Frye of Toledo, OH and William "Junior" (Donna) Frye, Jr. of Chesire, OH; two brothers-in-law, Jim and Joe Corns, both of Davin; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, January 3, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. Roland Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services.
