Obituary of Carolyn Ann Christian

Carolyn Ann Evans Christian Of Lundale, WV Carolyn Ann Evans Christian, 61, of Lundale, departed this life Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Hubbard Hospice House at Charleston. She was born April 3, 1952, at Braeholm, the daughter of the late Alex and Dova Ousley Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Eugene Christian, Sr. Carolyn was a former employee of Ames and The Dollar Store. Until her illness, she had been employed with Rescare at Man. She attended Accoville United Methodist Church where she always enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School. She leaves behind are one son, Herman Christian, Jr. of Mallory; one daughter, Eugenia Collins of Robinette; one grandson; four granddaughters; siblings, Alex Evans of Virginia Beach, Mary Spears of Man, Jim Evans of Robinette, and Sharon and Richard Ellis of Robinette; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, 12-18-2013, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Robbie Gollihue officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
