Brandi Michelle Nester
Of Man, WV
Brandi Michelle Nester, 28, of Man, went home to be with Jesus Tuesday, August 13, 2013, from her home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born October 31, 1984, at Logan, the daughter of Hunky and Kathy Dean Goodman of Kistler and Bernard and Natalie Cook Ellis of Bruno.
Brandi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddie Dean, Mathias "Buddy" Ellis, Thomas Cook, and Thurman and Lottie Goodman; and a host of other family members.
She was a 2003 graduate of Man High School. Brandi was a born again Christian and a member of the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church. She loved going to church when she was able. Brandi enjoyed traveling with her husband, Eric, who was the love of her life. Other favorite past times were 4-wheeling, going to the shooting range, hanging out at the river with the kids, and just spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish the precious memory of Brandi are her loving husband of 9 years, Eric Nester of Man; her parents, Hunky and Kathy Dean Goodman of Kistler and Bernard and Natalie Cook Ellis of Bruno; her twin sister, Bridgette Ellis of Man; three brothers, Aaron (Amanda) Ellis and Christopher Ellis, both of Bruno, and Ray (Martha) Goodman of Claypool; her grandparents, Yvonne Dean of Kistler, Shelby Ellis of Bruno, Sherry Cook of Cyclone, and Donald and Lois Damron of Barberton, OH; her parents-in-law, Roger and Donna Damron Nester of Man; her sister-in-law, Amy (Jason) Mullins of Hanover; four nieces and nephews whom she loved with all of her heart, Alexa, Ronald Ray, and Bayleigh Ellis of Man and Jaxon Ellis of Bruno; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a very special friend whom she loved as a sister, Mandy Cantrell of Bruno; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Cantrell and Rev. Roland Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Sandlick Freewill Baptist Church and one hour prior to services at the church also.
