Obituary of Marilyn Corns Collins

Marilyn Corns Collins Of Davin, WV Marilyn Corns Collins, 76, of Davin, left this life on July 2, 2013, from her residence, after a long illness. She was born June 3, 1937, at Accoville, the daughter of the late Clyde Leonard and Ocie Dempsey Corns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Theodore "Ted" Collins; one brother Benard Corns; and one sister Mary Cobb. Marilyn was a home maker and wonderful mother. Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Susan Collins of Huff Creek, Paul Collins and his wife, Misty, of Amherstdale, and Thomas Collins of Cross Lanes; four grandchildren, Cody Collins of Huff Creek, Jonathan, Nick and Emily Collins, all of Amherstdale; two sisters, Naomi Harless of Cyclone and Sara Curtis of Florida; one sister-in-law, Mercedes Corns of Davin; and many Nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank three special care givers, Kristy Curry, Carolyn Boykins, and Susan Albright. A visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man. Honoring her wishes she will be cremated following the service.
