Of Robinette, WV
Betty Lee Meade Mosley, 77, of Robinette, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, June 10, 2013, from her earthly home at Robinette, after a long illness.
She was born February 6, 1936, at Branchland, the daughter of the late Leander Jackson Meade, Ruth Ann Reynolds Meade Hatfield, and Leonard Arnold Hatfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her soul mate and husband, Archie Mosley; 10 brothers, James Burton Meade, William Lee Meade, Raymond D. Meade, Freeman Ray Meade, Bobby Dencil Meade, Henry Ray Meade, Donald Gay Meade, French Marion Hatfield, Louie Gene Hatfield, and Naamen Arnold Hatfield; an infant sister; two grandsons, James and Richard Thompson; one daughter-in-law, Deborah "Debbie" Ochinsky Mosley; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Mary Bell Colegrove Mosley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Franklin "Hank" Mosley, Eleanor and Arville Hendricks, Tom Howell, and Clarence Ray Mosley, Jr.; and two nephews, Franklin "Pug" Mosley and Mark Anthony Hedricks.
Betty was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a child of God and enjoyed going to church when she was able. Although her illness limited her faithful attendance, her faith in God remained strong. Surrounded by her family, Betty inspired her children with her Godly ways, devotion to family, and her cooking abilities.
Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Archie Mosley II of Robinette, Robert Mosley of Hardeeville, SC, and Leonard "Redd" (Colleen) Mosley of Cleveland, OH; one daughter, Patricia (David) Thompson of Lorado; one sister, Carolyn Sue (William B.) McCloud of Branchland; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barbara Meade of Hamlin, John "Nake" and Darlene Mosley, Lucinda "Lou" Howell, Willard and Hazel Mosley, Merle and Max Rakes, Sammy and Direne "Sue" Mosley, all of Robinette; 12 grandchildren, Archie Lee (Crystal) Mosley, III, Allen Ray (Jean Ann) Mosley, Christopher Eric (Shasta) Mosley, James William Block Mosley; Stacey (Fred Esquilin) Mosley, Timothy Franklin Mosley; Antoinette Marie (Carl) Reno, Mathew James (Jasmine Mendez) Mosley, Danielle Marie (Ryan) Linville, ReGina Dawn (David) Hopkins, Chloe LeAnn (Justin) Smith, and David Alan Thompson, II; 18 great grandchildren, Derek Fazulak, Jared Fazulak, Landon Michael Mosley, Isabella Mosley, Archie Mosley, IV, one due shortly, Kristen Mosley, Zachary Corbin, Maddox Esquilin, Pheonix Esquilin, Gloria Mosley, Mason Mosley, Emily Reno, Callie Reno, Dominic Reno, Seth Lee Linville, Jaykob Edwin Taylor Hopkins, and Kayden Owen Ray Hopkins; and multitude of nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Robinette Church of God with Rev. Albert Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the church and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be grandsons.
