Dianna Faye Curry Duncan
Of Crites, WV
Dianna Faye Curry Duncan, 69, of Crites, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 10, 2013, from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a short illness.
She was born February 2, 1944, at Holden, the daughter of the late William Harrison and Virginia Wireman Curry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Duncan; one son, Billy Joe Morris, Jr.; and one brother, Robert Keene.
Dianna was a retired support specialist formerly employed at ResCare at Man. She also had worked as a cook at the Pick and Shovel Restaurant at Lundale and as a cashier at the C & D Carryout at Robinette. Dianna was of the Freewill Baptist faith. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-mother.
Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Dani (Randall) Fernandez of Accoville; one son, Robert (Julie) Morris of Spice Creek; 8 grandchildren, Joey Morris of Duncan Fork, Jared Morris of Bruno, Corey Toler of Huff Creek, Mitchell Morris, Bethanie Morris, and Dylan Morris, all of Spice Creek, Brandon Morris of Ohio, and Talitha Gordon of Cross Lanes; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Maynard of Kentucky, Maleigha Morris of Bruno, Chloe Morris of Duncan Fork, and Ethan Toler of Huff Creek; and a special aunt and uncle, Claude and Josephine Curry of Lundale; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be her grandsons.
