Macil Harvey
Of Lundale, WV
Macil Harvey, 85, of Lundale, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from her home, surrounded by her loving children.
Macil was born February 9, 1927, at Braeholm, a daughter of the late Ellis and Ona Holland McComas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Burwell Harvey; three brothers, Ellis McComas, Jr., Jack D. McComas, and John H. McComas; seven sisters, Bonnie McComas, Gloria Frasher, Margie Edwards, Sue Ferguson, Barbara Johnson, Mable Ferguson, and Era Doris Stumbo;
Macil enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and loved her flowers. She was a great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved all of them.
Those left to cherish her memory are her six loving children, Gayle (Jim) McCoy of Harvest, AL, Randall (Debbie) Harvey, of Oceana, Connie (Gary) Mullins of Lundale, Vickie (Conley) Evans of Palm Bay, FL, Dawn (Jerry) Stacy of Lundale, Kevin (Sheila) Harvey of Proctorville, OH; four sisters, Collee Gambill of Lundale, Mary (James) Mullins of Rush, KY, Ernie (Ron) Cutshall of Grayson, KY, and Debbie (Larry) Sturgill of Summersville, SC; eight grandchildren, Amber McCoy of Birmingham, AL, Erica (Randy) Toler of Oceana, Angela Plumley of Lundale, Jason and Chad Evans, both of Palm Bay, FL, Jeramey (Paula) Stacy of Accoville, Stephanie Stacy of Chapmanville, and Andrea (Tyler) Drennan of New Orleans, LA; six great-grandchildren, Gary Joseph Plumley, Bethany Stacy, Grayson Stacy, Peyton Sigmon, Blake Toler, and Blake Drennan; her special nurse Nancy Bryant; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. Benjamin "Ben" James officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 P.M. Thursday at the Funeral Home and one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
