Of Earling, WV
Mary Jane Poston Evans, 64, of Earling, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
She was born July 14, 1947, at Amherstdale, the daughter of the late Ivan and Alice Marcum Poston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kelly and Goldie Vincent Poston; her maternal grandparents, Pearlie and Viola Sexton Marcum; and one very special niece, Jennifer LeAnn Evans.
Mary was a home maker. She enjoyed traveling and vacationing with family and friends. A dedicated shopper, she loved shopping with her sister-in-law who was like a sister, Angie Evans. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Those left to cherish her memory are her very loving and caring husband of 44 years, Norman Wilson "Bud" Evans of Earling; one son, Wilson Gene Evans of Lundale; one daughter, Cindy Jane Blankenship of Earling; one sister, Katherine (Jackie) Evans of Earling; four grandchildren, LeAnn Evans of Gaffney, SC, Eric (Becky) Evans of Earling, Kelsey Evans of Mallory, and Keyleigh Evans of Lundale; four great-grandchildren, Eric Evans, Hunter Evans, Macy Evans, Keith Caudill Jr.; and many nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
