Gary Lee Porter Of Greenville, WV Gary Lee Porter, 58, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from his residence after a short illness. He was born July 13, 1953 in Logan County, a son of Noraleen Walls Fryer and her husband, Lee Fryer, of Memphis, TN and the late Finnie Cecil Porter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul David Porter and Roger Neal Porter. Gary was a retired school bus driver, formerly employed with the Logan County Board of Education. Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 33 years, Dorothy "Tootsie" Ellis Porter of Greenville; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Cline and her husband, Ty, of Lexington, NC; two cherished grandchildren, Haleigh Cline and Ayden Cline, both of Lexington, NC; one brother, Greg Obrien of Memphis, TN; one sister, Kimberly Hill of Memphis, TN; four nieces; one nephew; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Greenville Freewill Baptist Church at Greenville with the Rev. Baxter Toler officiating. Private burial will follow at a later date. Online condolences maybe sent to www.krantzmcneelyfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
