Bentley Wilson Damron
Of Man, WV
Bentley Wilson Damron, the precious son of Derek and Vanessa Lacy Damron of Man, WV, was born February 23, 2012 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington. Bentley's family was blessed to have him for two months and ten days before he went to his Heavenly home.
Bentley was cuddled, loved, and showered with many hugs and kisses and will always be held in our hearts. He passed away peacefully Thursday, May 3, 2012, surrounded by his loving Mommy, Daddy, Nanna, and Mamaw at Logan Regional Hospital in Logan.
As Jesus received him he was also greeted by his great-grandparents; and three cousins, Jason Spurlock, Kaleb and Bailey Workman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents; paternal grandparents, Marion and Tammy Damron of Cooks Addition; maternal grandparents, Homer and Velma Lacy of Harts; four uncles, Cody Damron of Cooks Addition, Jim "Booger" (Becky) Short of Man, Homer (Lora Green) Lacy and Marvin (Michelle) Gore, both of Harts; two aunts, Amber (Josh) Morgan of Martinsburg and Felica (Allen) Bailey of Logan; great-grandparents, Johnny and Jean Short of Man, Brenda Damron of Accoville, and Melvina Gore of Harts; seven cousins, Samatha and Olivia Short of Man, Andrew Damron, of Accoville, Cameron, Jasper, and Sierra Lacy, and Emily Gore, all of Harts; and many great uncles, great aunts, and cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the Mallory Church of God at Mallory with Rev. Shaun Walker and Rev. Kenny Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the church and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be Cody Damron and Homer Lacy, III.
