Joseph Edward "Joe" Brumfield
Of Man, WV
Joseph Edward "Joe" Brumfield, 46, of Man, passed away in an automobile accident on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Mallory.
He was born December 29, 1965, at Man, a son of the late Joe Randolph Brumfield and Margie Sadie Brown Brumfield Browning and his step-father, David Lee Browning.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Regina Lynn Fielder; his paternal grandfather, Clayton "Zeke" Brumfield, and his maternal grandparents, Edward "Red" and Ruby Lafferty Brown.
Joe attended Greenvalley Worship Center. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Joe was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, LaDonna Gail Asprey Griffin Brumfield; three daughters, Kristina Robinson of Huddleston, VA, Starlena Workman of Oceana, and Tara Brumfield of Bruno; one son, Joe Matthew Lee Brumfield of Bruno; one grandmother, Betty Brumfield of Bruno; one granddaughter, Caitlyn Michelle Workman of Oceana; one unborn grandchild from Kristina Robinson; two brothers, Calvin Sam Brumfield of Huddleston, VA and Jamie Dale Browning of WV; four sisters, Temple (Richard) Rinker and Amy Jeanette Browning, both of Huddleston, VA, Beverly Brumfield of Whitman, and Delila (Jamie) Lusk of Gilbert; step-mother, Dorothy Toler Brumfield of Gilbert; one brother-in-law, James Fielder; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at the Bruno Church of God at Bruno with Rev. Roger Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be Cody Paynter, Duke Toler, Clayton Brumfield, Timmy Nichols, Johnny Glandon, Craig Brumfield, and Buzzy Tiller.
Honorary pall bears will be Richard Rinker, James Fielder, and Wallace Copley.
