Arnold Prince
Of Lorado, WV
Arnold Prince, 60, of Lorado, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 21, 2011, from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
He was born March 4, 1951, at Man, a son of the late William Riley and Delphia Marie Osborne Prince.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; two brothers, Billy Prince and Jimmy Prince; and two sisters, Mary Prince Hickman and Leslie Prince.
Arnold was an employee of Cliffs Logan County Coal. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Carolyn Isom Prince of Lorado; one son, James Arnold Prince of Lorado; one daughter, Crystal (Matthew) Elliott of Chapmanville; two grandchildren, Ryan and Nicholas Elliott; five brothers, Donald (Debbie) Prince and William (Peggy) Prince, both of Lorado, Andrew (Susan) Prince and Craig (Barbara) Prince, both of NC, and Michael (Christine) Prince of Kopperston; three sisters, Sharon (Eddie) Isom and Virginia Prince, both of Lorado, and Dovie (Melvin) Canterbury of Amherstdale; several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 24, 2011, at the Gilman Bottom Free Will Baptist Church at Gilman Bottom with Rev. Bill Gibson and Rev. Roland Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-10 p.m. Friday at the church and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
