Jim, Yvonne & Mary,
I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I have the fondest memories of Nora Dawn. She and I were inseperable at one time. Time and distance came between our friendship but it doesn't make this any easier. When we were together there was never a dull moment. I remember one time that you all were out of town for the evening and Nora told me my hair was way too flat and she permed my hair with Yvonne's supplies. She didn't leave the rods in long enough because she thought you would come home and smell the perm soulution and we would be in BIG trouble. At my old house Dad let me and Nora engrave our names in the concrete step that he poured and I often wonder if it is still there. I remember the very firt time I stayed at your house, Nora and I were singing Michael Jackson songs so loud that Yvonne came in the bedroom and said "Now, Nora Dawn, you girls keep this up and she is going to have to go home." I can't count the number of times I spent the night with her after that. She and I were always trying to get a good laugh somewhere or out of someone. My best memory is sitting in your white Caprice Classic (not old enough to drive yet), blasting music, singing Loretta Lynn & Van Halen songs and talking about all of the places we would go and visit someday. I have spent today reminiscing with some of our classmates about the friendship that we all had together and all I can say is "We laughed until we cried!"
I know that there are no words that come close to mending your broken hearts but you will continue to be in my thoughts.
Sincerely,
Jo Beth (Dials) Adkins

Jim, Yvonne, and Mary, I want you to know that you and your family are in my prayers. I remember having Nora Dawn in class, and every day, I could be sure she would have a smile for me when she answered the role. Just remember that you are in my prayers and may God Bless each of you.
