Marsha Lynn Hager
Of Amherstdale, WV
Marsha Lynn Hager, 48, of Amherstdale, departed this life Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at her home.
She was born April 5, 1963, at Isaban, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Clara Goodman Cline.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lee Hager; one brother, Timothy Lawrence Cline; three aunts, Alta Goodman Carter, Maudie Goodman Mounts, and Jane Goodman; and five uncles, Johnny, Bobby, Sherman, Artie, and Elmer Goodman.
Marsha was a home maker who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her cats, Spade and Rose, and her dog, Oscar. Marsha liked to garden and do outside activities.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Marica (Grant) Vance of Hurley, VA and Jessica (Mark) Hughes of Accoville; two step-daughters, Tabitha Hager and Serena Wilson, both of New Castle, OK; two grandchildren, Dalton Vance of Hurley, VA and Tiberius Hughes of Accoville; six step-grandchildren, Kevin and Courtney Vance of Gilbert, Ashley, Katlyn and Zachary Hager, all of New Castle, OK, and Marcus Hughes of Lorado; three sisters, Elaine Ellis of Baisden, and Renea Cline and Naomi Mehr, both of Columbus, OH; one brother, Christopher Cline of Columbus, OH; her mother-in-law, Virginia Hager of Amherstdale; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. Roger Vance officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to services.
At Marsha’s request, her remains have been cremated.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, 115 Market St., Man, WV 25635 to help with funeral expenses.
