Obituary of Pamela Mae Stacy

Pamela Mae Stacy Of Kistler, WV Pamela “Pam” Mae Stacy, 59, of Kistler, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 22, 2011, from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after an extended illness. She was born February 24, 1952, at Oceana, the daughter of the late Wayne and Tressie Fortner Graham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Graham; two sisters, Maxine Varney and Genny Holcomb; her mother-in-law, Iva Lea Stacy; and brothers-in-law, Ed Blankenship, Joe Holcomb, and Jack Hicks. Pam was a retired school teacher formerly employed with the Logan County Board of Education for 24 years. She taught for most of her teaching career at Man Middle School and was a member of the AFT. Prior to becoming a teacher, Pam worked as a beautician for 16 years. When able she attended the Mallory Church of God. Pam loved to crochet, make blankets, write poetry, and take vacations, especially to the Amish country. Devoted to her family, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. The joys of her life were her two grandchildren, Becca and Brody, and her son, Stephen. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years, Butch Stacy who was the love of her life; one son, Stephen Wayne Stacy of Kistler; two sisters, Hazel Blankenship of Kopperston and Carol Hunter of Crown; one brother, Steve (Peggy) Graham of Lynco; her father-in-law, Bobby Stacy of Kistler; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Timmy and Lori Stacy of Man, Robbie and Angie Stacy of Earling, Kathy Hicks of Henlawson, and Ricky and Paula Stacy of Christian; many nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at the Mallory Church of God at Mallory with Rev. Pat O’Brien and Rev. Shaun Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Mallory Church of God Multipurpose building fund to help win souls to Christ, P. O. Box 63, Mallory, WV 25634. Pall bearers will be Timmy Stacy, Terry Justice, Jerry Dale Grimmett, Bill Owens, Charles Paynter, and Danny Gibson.
