James Gregory “Hoagie” McClure Of Davin, WV James Gregory “Hoagie” McClure, 46, of Davin, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 9, 2011, from his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 10, 1964, at Logan, the son of Shirley Greene McClure of Man and the late James Harry McClure. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael “Mike” McClure. Hoagie was a bull-dozer operator and a truck driver. He enjoyed 4-wheeling and spending time with his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 21 years, Sheila Copley McClure of Davin; three children, Paul (Kim) Vance of Alabama, Justin Vance at home, and Erik (Margaret) Toler of Delbarton; three sisters, Sherri (Bob) Johnson, Teresa McClure, and Allison (Roy) Lambert, all of Man; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. Bryan C. Baker officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. At his request, the remains have been cremated.
