Obituary of Terry Lee Hoosier

Terry Lee Hoosier Of Crown, WV Terry Lee Hoosier, 55, of Crown, departed this life April 6, 2011, from his residence. He was born July 5, 1955, at Madison, a son of Mary Jo Mullins Hoosier of Crown and the late Billy Ray Hoosier, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sester and Bessie Hoosier; maternal grandparents, Dana and Daisy Stowers; one, brother, Billy Ray Hoosier, Jr.; one, brother-in-law, that he thought of as a brother, Perry “Pete” Bailey Terry was a disabled coal miner who worked for Amherst Coal Company. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and four wheelers. Terry was a loving and devoted son to his mother, who loved him dearly and with whom he made his home. He was a loyal brother and uncle that loved every chance he had to spend with his siblings and many nieces and nephews. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Jo Mullins Hoosier of Crown; one sister, Vickie Bailey and her fiancé Greg of Omar; one brother, Teddy Hoosier and his companion Mary of Crown; five nephews, Billy Gene (April) Hoosier of Taylorsville, NC, Perry (Brandi) Bailey of Charles Town, WV, Shane (Kelli) Hoosier of Hiddenite, NC, Casey Hoosier of Crown, and T.J. Hoosier of Kistler; three nieces, Carrie (Billy) Chafin of Chapmanville, Jessica (Rickey) Bailey of Whitman, and Vickie Hoosier of Charleston; eight great nephews and four great nieces, Tyler and Jacob Chafin, Brandon, Tanner, Grifyn, JonStevin, Alexa, and Layla, Hoosier, D.J. Moore, Allison and Kylie Bradley, and Kai Martin; two beloved pets, Runt and Jewell; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will commence at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. Jimmy Belcher officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. Pall bearers will be Casey, Billy Gene, and Shane Hoosier, Perry Bailey, Jr., Tom Kent, and Tyler Chafin. Honorary pall bearers will be Billy Chafin, Oscar Adkins, Eddie Spears, Pat Jarrell, Greg Dixon, Rickey Bradley, T.J. Hoosier, and Roger Fox.
