Of Mallory, WV
Georgia Paugh, 69, of Mallory, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Trinity Health Care at Logan, after a long illness.
She was born on July 20, 1941, the daughter of the late William Robert and Bertha Dempsey Brickles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carlos Brickles, Orville Brickles, and Dennie Brickles; and one sister, Mary Ellen Brickles.
Georgia was a home maker. Before her illness, she attended the Man Church of God at Man. Georgia enjoyed fishing and camping. Devoted to her family, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Jackie “Jack” Paugh of Mallory; two sons, William Dennie “Bill” Paugh and Randle (Sylvia) Paugh, both of Mallory; three daughters, Garnet Paugh of Mallory and Barbara (Freddy) Lawrence and Shirley (Rodney) Harrison, both of Cyclone; one step-son, Wandell Lusk of Cyclone; Drema Sue Teel of Clendenin whom she thought of as a daughter; three sisters, Maggie McCoy of Greenvalley, Deloris Sanders of Branchland, and Patricia “Patty” McCoy of Ranger; two brothers, William Robert “Bill” Brickles of Cleveland, OH and Virgil Brickles of Toney Fork; eight grandchildren, Willie, Michael, Jessica, April, Jacky, Cindy, Carrie, and Rodney Lee; six great-grandchildren, Michael Jr., Ryan, Destiny, Dixie, Kelsey, Kaley, and two, Baby Harrison and Baby Paugh, on the way; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will commence at 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Robert Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
