Imogene Lusk Of Cyclone, WV Imogene Lusk, 80, of Cyclone went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 16, 2014, from CAMC-General at Charleston, after an extended illness. She was born July 1, 1934, at Cyclone, the daughter of the late Mathers and Martha Bailey Brown. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by, one granddaughter Delana Jean Boothe; father and mother-in-law, Creed and Merlie Lusk; four brothers, Lawrence, Lanta, Ronnie and Ernest Brown; two sisters, Gaye Workman and Irene Brown; and one half brother, Lonnie Brown. Imogene was a member of the Cyclone Church of God, where she served as church clerk and was a member of the Amazing Auxiliary. Her favorite hymn was "I must tell Jesus" and was a spiritual mother to many at the church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Rev. Kennis Lusk; one daughter, Dewanna (Darrell) Bailey of Cyclone, with whom she made her home; one granddaughter, LaVaunda (Coby) Toler of Cyclone; two great-grandchildren, Cody Toler and his fiancé Ashley Osborne and her daughter, Keelyn, of Oceana and Hannah (David) Joyce of Justice; two great-great grandchildren, Seth David Joyce of Justice and Natalee Price of Shady Springs; two brothers, Rommie (Emma Jean) Brown of Boone County and Rev. Lucian (Vickie) Brown of Cyclone; one sister, Joyce (Carlos) Webb of Cyclone; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the Cyclone Church of God at Cyclone with the Rev. Mike Kell officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery at Beartree Branch Road at Cyclone. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the church and one hour prior to services.
