Arbadella Justice
Of Verner, WV
Arbadella Justice, 72, of Verner, departed this life Friday, February 11, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her loving family singing and praising the Lord.
She was born June 10, 1938, at Hunt, the daughter of the late Dewey and Stella Grimmett Trent.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving sister, Magdeline Altizer; and two brothers, Hulan Trent and Hubert Trent.
Mrs. Justice was a part-time cook at Buffalo Grade School. She was a faithful member of the Elk Creek Free Will Baptist Church at Elk Creek. She loved to sing and praise the Lord.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 55 years, James William Justice of Verner; three daughters, Drema (Jimmy) Adkins of Hensley Heights, Treasa (Charles) Urconis of Elk Creek, and Kaye (Carl Good) Justice of Verner; four sons, Jimmy (Sheila) Justice of Accoville, Terry (Barbara) Justice of South Man, Timmy (Teresa) Justice of Davin, and Jerry (Lisa) Justice of Elk Creek; grandchildren, Kelly (Dale) Cook of Kopperston, Cindy (Ray) Anderson of Amherstdale, Jimmy Ray “Skeezer” (Shena Thomas) Adkins II of Beckley, Jaime (Johnny) Mullins of Accoville, Stacie (Jimbo) Epperly of Crites, Jimmy Lee (Sara Cazin) of South Man, John (Maranda) Justice of Accoville, Kandice Justice of South Man, T.J. Justice of Davin, Nick Justice and Tyler Justice, both of Elk Creek, Heather (Orville Gibson) Justice of Verner, Joey (Amanda Richards) Justice of Madison, and Josh (Brandi Williams) Justice of Bruno; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Caleb, and Kerri-Anne Cook, all of Kopperston, Emma Sue and Hunter Anderson, both of Amherstdale, Jaime Lynn and James Charles Epperly, both of Crites, Megan Justice of Man, Lannie, Corey, Ritchie, and Christian Holbrook, all of Verner, and Colton Justice of Man; four sisters, Linda (Danny) Browning and Jean (Jay) Story, both of Hunt, Lena (Elba) Hatfield of Browning Fork, and Sondra Cozart of Brooksville, FL; six brothers, Donzel (Christine) Trent and Reed Trent, both of Elk Creek, Walter (Bugs) Trent of Mason County, Doug (Lynndora) Trent and Dolan (Anna) Trent, both of Hunt, and Marshall (Joann) Trent of Brooksville, FL; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will commence at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at the Hunt Free Will Baptist Tabernacle at Hunt with Rev. Donald Ellis and Rev. Shaun Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the Hunt Free Will Baptist Tabernacle.
Pall bearers will be her grandsons, Jimmy Ray “Skeezer” Adkins II, Jimmy Lee, John David, T. J., Joey, Josh, and Nick Justice.
