Obituary of Junior Osborne

Junior Osborne Of Bias Branch, WV Junior Osborne, 75, of Bias Branch, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 12, 2010, from his home, after a brief illness. He was born March 30, 1935, at Lorado, a son of the late Sherman and Pearl Osborne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sons, Sherman, Ronnie, Earl, Thomas Ray, and Ernie Osborne; and one sister, Eliza Jane Osborne. He was a member of Bias Branch Community Church at Bias Branch. Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Sue McCormick of Bias Branch with whom he made his home and Roxana Hurley of NC; four sons, Jacob Osborne of Bias Branch, Lloyd Osborne of Kanawha Co., Jody (Frances) Osborne of IN, and Don Osborne of FL; eleven grandchildren, Sherry Merritt of NC, Nora Rogers and Angela McCormick, both of Robinette, Tommy McCormick, Willie McCormick, Dennis Dalton, and Cody Dalton, all of Bias Branch, Matthew Hurley of NC, and Josie Osborne, Mark Osborne, and Daniel Osborne, all of IN; four great-grandchildren, Joseph Koslek, Alexander Koslek, Stephanie Wicker, and Kenny Merritt; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010, at the New Vision Church, 272 Toney Creek Rd., Lorado with Sister Evelyn Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Osborne Cemetery at Lorado. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
